What is the Relation between Equity College and the International Court for Dispute Resolution?

Equity College (EC) is the Professional College of the International Court for Dispute Resolution (INCODIR), based on that EC is to be considered the only formal educational facility of the court, which entrusted with carrying out the educational objectives of the presidents of the court's fora. The EC is subjected to a number of articles in the INCODIR constitution, though it have its own constitution.

With that being said, the EC cannot be considered a subsidiary of INCODIR, and it is totally independent from INCODIR.

The EC offers only professional degrees, and as a UK entity it can offers any professional degree; in the laws of the united kingdom, or honored by the laws of the united kingdom.

The President of the EC, and it's Exclusive Administrative Representatives, are exclusively whom have the right to sign in the name of EC.

How can I know that a program, not organized by the EC, is accredited by the EC?

The EC Third-Party Programs (ECTPP) are professional programs in which the EC acts as an accreditation platform for programs provided totally by third-parties, in that case the EC use the latest techniques to; supervise the educational techniques, the curriculums, the quality of lecturers, and the overall system of education undertaking by the third-party entity, based on that the EC accredit the program. In such programs the EC gives the third party entity a "Course Code" which they must use it to show that their program is accredited by the EC. You can check wither the program is accredited by the EC or not by entering the "Course Code" in the "Third-Party Programs check" .

What is the professional Doctorate, and if I hold it, can I add the title "Dr." before my name?

The professional Doctorate, is a professional certificate that is to be awarded to whom reached a very high professional level in certain field. The professional doctorate are very famous and do exist since the middle ages. The most famous professional doctorates are;

The MD "Medicinae Doctor"

Which is a professional degree to be awarded with the academic bachelor of medicine to those graduated from the medicine school. that is the reason any one graduated from the medicine school is to be called doctor and use the title "Dr." even before he holds the academic doctorate i.e. the Ph.D.

The JD "Juris Doctor"

Which is a professional degree to be awarded, in some jurisdictions, with the academic bachelor of law to those graduated from the law school.

If somebody holds a professional doctorate it is not wrong to use the title "Dr." before his name, but he cannot use the suffix "PhD".

The EC uses an advanced e-learning portal offered by Chamilo, which enables the student to have his course, receive the materials, submit his assignment and researches, enter the quizzes and exams and know his results.

The EC adopts the highest standers of transparency and accountability, exactly as the INCODIR, we do not tolerant any deviance from our standers by any of our allies. If something like that was found by a trainee, please contact us, to report this matter.

Why you don't have a ".edu" domain?

Since 2001, Only U.S. postsecondary institutions that are institutionally accredited by an agency on the U.S. Department of Education's list of Nationally Recognized Accrediting Agencies may obtain an Internet name in the .edu domain. And we are a UK institute not a US institute.
